There are a few legendary whiskey distilleries in the South, and Prichard’s is one of them. Phil Prichard owes his family’s heritage to Grandfather Benjamin Prichard who bequeathed his “still, tubs and utensils thereto” to his son, Enoch, in 1822. Throughout its unique history, the family has maintained a loyal commitment to the sweetness of white corn, pure Tennessee spring water and ancient pot still techniques for its distinctive whiskeys.
Today, President and Master Distiller Phil applies his innovative genius both to modernizing the company’s production technology and, especially, to the creation of exquisite flavors within a growing range of Whiskeys, Rums and Liqueurs. We could wax lyrical about the experience of tasting the extensive variety available in the distillery and its picturesque setting amongst the Tennessee hills, but we wouldn’t do justice to the depth and breadth of Prichard’s offerings; you have to be there.
Representing such an eclectic array of fine spirits to our growing list of customers worldwide is a challenge we are delighted to fulfil. We have begun by selecting a few evocative pours, including the company’s most popular liqueur label, ‘Sweet Lucy’.
