To ‘follow your dreams’ is an aspiration few of us reach; Matt Cunningham is one of the few. After graduating, Matt became a full-time firefighter but, when he wasn’t on call, he worked on his dream to start a craft distillery in his hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee. Old Glory Distilling was born on October 29th, 2016 and now, after 9 years, it’s more than ready to export its fine whiskeys to discerning customers worldwide.
The distillery is located in a vast, imposing warehouse 8 miles from downtown Clarksville. The ‘wow’ factor hits the visitor as they enter this spacious emporium. Attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the extensive array of branded merchandise to the spotlessly clean distilling equipment, the bottling lines and the newly fitted restaurant. Beyond the walls, there’s an open-air auditorium, bars and impressive acreage. Old Glory Distilling has become a destination integral to the growing city of Clarksville.
The brand is all about hand-crafting every step of the way. The team grind, cook, ferment, distill and patiently age every drop of Old Glory Tennessee Bourbon and Whiskey on site; as they say, “From Grain to Glory”.
