Leiper’s Fork Distillery

Setting the highest possible bar for a premium whiskey drives Proprietor and Chief Distiller, Lee Kennedy, to ensure that the distillery meets exacting standards while implementing the age-old production techniques reminiscent of Pre-Prohibition style whiskeys. Nestling in the hills behind the Leiper’s Fork village center, the distillery’s 200-year old structure is as stunningly picturesque as its whiskey is uniquely refined.

The brand is not new to the world of international exports. Leiper’s Fork’s Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskeys have been available in the UK through Pol Roger for the past 2 years. Already, in such a short time, the Bourbon has achieved an accolade from the members of The Whisky Shop’s W Club, who voted it ‘Whisky of the Year’ for 2024.

Central to the brand’s ethos is the sourcing of all ingredients locally, with grain harvested from Lee’s nearby farm, and maintaining a consistently high level of quality by hand-crafting every stage of production. One of the distillery’s newest single barrel releases includes aging the distillate in a honey barrel where the honey, consistent with the distillery’s principles, was derived from beehives on site.
